And that, as they way is that. And most will try hard to forget 2020, but she had one last Sunrise for us at the cabin ...
I was stood getting breakfast ready for the dogs, when I caught a glimpse of a slit in the sky. By the time I had found the camera, changed the battery and then realised I didn't have a memory card in the camera (anyone would be scared if I said I was a photographer ☺️) ... the slit had become a slash across the horizon.
This is the view from the veranda, and a view that I have decided to capture through all the seasons. Cold winters mornings makes for superb richly coloured sunrises (and we are all awake enough to see them), but in all honesty, I'm ready now for some late summer sunsets and the ethereal glow they bring with them, reflected back along the valley.
Until then though, life on the ranch continues apace, the ground remains covered in snow and the car remains stuck at the bottom of the slope 😂😂😂
Tomorrow is the first working day of the new year - onwards and upwards.
